OCTOBER | IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS

October 14 & 15th

Core Leadership Curriculum – Derek Deprey

Day 1:

• SHIFT:  Move from Frustrated to Fulfilled (4 Hrs)
• MVP to MVL:  Most Valuable Performer to Most Valuable Leader  (3 Hrs)

Day 2:

• Feedback Isn’t a 4-Letter Word: Creating a Healthy Culture of Feedback  (2.5 Hrs)
• Nail the Handoff:  Assign Work, Set Expectations & Drive Accountability  (2.5 Hrs)

• Beyond the Annual Review:  Performance Management That Actually Motivates (2 Hrs)

Leadership Impact Project

Participants will identify a real leadership challenge within their organization and apply concepts from the program to address it. Participants will track their progress and share the results of their project at the conclusion of the program.

Ongoing Leadership Support

Participants will have access to the Built to Lead online community for continued discussion, networking, questions, resources and peer support throughout the program.

Cohort #1 will join this session, which will begin to form a BTL alumni group.

• Introductions, overview of Cohort 2’s Leadership Impact Projects , and time for Cohort 1 to share successes and challenges from the past year.

• Keynote talk to entire Expo Group and BTL attendees – “Everyday  Leaders”

10:00 – 11:00am

• Graduation Ceremony  - Derek Deprey and Barb Pietrangelo
  • We will highlight the companies that have invested in their emerging leaders and demonstrate the ROI by briefly reviewing the “leadership impact projects” that each attendee completed.

11:00 – 2:00pm

• Lunch on Show Floor  (12 – 1:30pm)
• Walk Exhibit Hall Floor  
  • attendees will also be able to gather for networking and relationship building in a private room.

2:00 – 3:30pm
