BMSA provides high-quality safety and consulting services with the goal of effectively assisting each member with safety, quality, and productivity goals.
On-site Safety Audit:
BMSA’s safety specialist will thoroughly assess your company’s current safety practices and compliance with OSHA regulations. A detailed report will let you know where you stand and provide instruction to remedy any safety weaknesses. The audit will include an evaluation of hazards, PPE, emergency procedures, and forklift compliance, among other safety requirements.
Comprehensive Safety Program:
Following an initial safety audit, BMSA’s safety specialist will develop a customized safety program for your operation and make 3 quarterly on-site visits to ensure you are following the latest safety guidelines and provide additional resources as needed. This program can be totally customized based upon your needs.
Safety Management Program Manual:
This manual is user-friendly, easy to understand and best of all, highly customizable. It covers both safety and DOT policies and includes a plethora of templates that provide necessary checklists and forms.
Our annual Toolbox Talk subscription includes everything you need to supplement a year’s worth of safety meetings:
- 12 Industry specific, 1-page handouts
- Manager’s Guides
- Sign-in Sheets to satisfy documentation requirements
- 3-Ring binder to keep it all together

On-site American Red Cross Adult CPR classes:
In addition to a 30+ year career as a Registered Nurse (RN), our safety specialist is certified as an American Red Cross CPR instructor. Try the new 2 hour “Blended Learning” program and be confident that you have staff who can respond in case of an emergency, without the hassle of travel and a full day away from work.
As a BMSA member you will receive the monthly electronic newsletter “Safety First”. This newsletter includes timely safety alerts and articles about the latest regulations and procedures for creating and maintaining a safe workplace.
On-site Safety Training:
If you need a speaker at your next safety meeting, BMSA’s safety specialist can teach a session on a variety of topics such as proper lifting techniques, hazard communication, proper use of PPE, etc.
