In this interactive workshop, you will learn how to apply 5S/Lean principles to assess and improve yard layout! After the introduction (or refresher) on 5S/Lean, you will work with a sample set of data pertaining to a lumber yard’s sales history and current state layout to analyze the data and develop a road map and timeline to improve the efficiency of the lumber yard layout.

The course isdivided into 6 sessions, totaling 12 hours of instruction, followed by experimental learning.
